Lisa was born and raised in Worland, Wyoming. She graduated from Worland High School in 1981 and went on to achieve a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). Her profound commitment to social justice was evident in her role as Director of the Rocky Mountain Resource Center (RMRC), an organization dedicated to helping individuals escape the grips of cults, gangs, and hate groups. She found immense delight in listening to her grandson Jayden’s stories, and her hobbies included cooking, crocheting, reading, and enjoying sci-fi movies and TV shows. She also treasured the time spent crafting with friends, a testament to her creative spirit and love for community.

Lisa’s warmth, dedication, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion and her unwavering commitment to helping others will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of crossing her path.
